Or does Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper taste just like regular Diet Dr. Pepper?

Have only tried Diet Cherry Vanilla Coke (a) because I don't like Pepsi (but my mother-in-law does) and (b) because it was all there was and I really wanted the Diet Coke with Lemon.
What I want to know it, why both "cherry" and "vanilla"?
Kristina, I know...I thought it was really funny so I had to try it...I couldn't tell what was differrent about it.
